Reconciliation
Wednesdays at 6:15 pm in the church or by appointment.
Communal Penance Services are scheduled during Advent, Lent, and Summer.
Infant Baptism
Infant Baptisms are celebrated on Saturday mornings at 9:00am and 9:30am, and four times during a year during Mass (The Feast of the Baptism of the Lord, the Second Sunday of Easter, Trinity Sunday and All Saints). Baptism Preparation includes a parent interview and a parent class. The interview lasts about 30 minutes and the class is an hour-and-a-half. These are conducted each month and the baptism can be scheduled upon completion of the interview and class. Parents are required to attend the Baptism Preparation Interview and Class, and Godparents are encouraged to attend the class, but it is not required. Confirmation
The sacrament of Confirmation is celebrated at the Co-Cathedral on the Day of Pentecost for those in their sophomore year of high school after completing two consecutive years of LIFE TEEN. LIFE TEEN meets every Sunday evening at 6 p.m. for Mass followed by a light supper, discussion, prayer and worship.
Marriage
Engaged couples should meet with the priest at least six months prior to the proposed date. Couples are also required to attend the Engaged Encounter Retreat sponsored by the Diocese of Honolulu. Click on "Forms & Resources" for our Wedding Planner and guidelines.
Holy Orders
The Diocese of Honolulu celebrates the Sacrament of Ordination of Priests and Deacons upon completion of their formation for public ministry. If you're interested in ordained ministry, please speak to one of our priests or deacons.
Anointing the Sick
The Sacrament of Anointing the Sick is celebrated on the third Sunday of the month after the 10:30 a.m. Mass It can also be arranged by appointment. Persons receiving hospice care should contact our Cathedral Office as soon as they begin receiving hospice care. A Communal Anointing of the Sick is also celebrated on the Feast of Our Lady of Lourdes/Word Day of the Sick, February 11, at 7 p.m. at the Co-Cathedral.
Funerals
Funerals are scheduled at 11 am or 7 pm Monday through Saturday based on the availability of the church. Families should contact our Cathedral Office prior to completing any arrangements with the mortuary. For more information, click on "Forms and Resources" for our Funeral Guidelines.
