Meals for the Homeless

Every third Thursday of the month, members of our parish prepare and serve a hot meal for the residents of Next Step, the homeless shelter in Kakaako.  For more information, contact the Coordinator, Henry Pang at 841-4455.

Food Pantry

The first Sunday of every month our parish collects canned and non-perishable goods for those in need.  They can be placed in the collection basket near the main doors of the church and are distributed through our neighbor Kaumakapili Church at 766 North King Street.

Hospital/Homebound Ministry

Our lay ministers take communion on Sundays after Mass to those who are homebound or hospitalized.  Those interested should attend the training session for Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion and plan to receive additional training for hospital volunteers.  For more information, contact the Coordinator, Nita Ayag, at 841-3505.

Stephen Ministry

The Stephen Ministry is a nation-wide, ecumenical ministry that trains lay men and women to provide Christian care to those going through difficult life-transitions - bereavement, separation and divorce, the elderly, etc.  It is not professional counselling but Christians providing a listening ear and compassion to those in need.  If you would like to speak to a Stephen Minister, please contact Fr.
